About the Author
James R Hudson has spent more than fifteen years serving young people in the church — from little kids all the way through high school — and along the way he's seen exactly what guys are up against as they grow into men. By trade he's an engineer, which means he spends his days helping build things meant to last. BUILT grew out of both callings: a heart for teen guys, and a conviction that a young man's faith — like anything that holds up — has to be built on purpose.
He and his wife are raising two boys of their own, ages 9 and 14, so he isn't writing from a distance. He's in it daily, praying the same things over his sons that he prays over every guy who opens this book.
